Complex Worlds Assemblage as a Story. Workshops for kids in English inspired by the Si On exhibition

The series of workshops accompanying the exhibition Si On. The Magic Woman and Other Stories is an invitation to explore the artist's world together and to delve into her unique creative language. The workshops are inspired by Si On's works, which are rich in color, bold forms, and emotional expression, as well as by narratives created at the intersection of painting, sculpture, and storytelling. 🟠 The events are intended for migrants living in Kraków as well as local residents who speak Polish or English. 🔴 During these workshops, we will immerse ourselves in an inspiring world of art, where objects, images, and fragments of reality come together to form new, unexpected wholes. The starting point will be the works of the artist Si On, in which everyday elements meet in multi-layered compositions, creating personal, meaningful stories. Participants will create their own assemblages - three-dimensional collages made from a variety of materials: paper, fabric, found objects, and graphic elements. 🟢 The workshops will be conducted in English. → For children aged 6-13 → Duration of the workshops: 1.5 hours → Cost: free of charge → registration is required via email at [email protected], along with confirmation of attendance. 🟡 The workshops are organized as part of a collaboration between the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery of Contemporary Art and IOM (International Organization for Migration). 🟡 The workshop program and its implementation is led by Educational Specialist Gabriela Mączka. PL Cykl warsztatów towarzyszących wystawie Si On. Czarodziejska kobieta i inne opowieści to zaproszenie do wspólnego odkrywania świata artystki i zgłębiania jej wyjątkowego języka twórczego. Warsztaty inspirowane są pracami Si On, które są pełne kolorów, wyrazistych form i emocjonalnej ekspresji - oraz opowieściami budowanymi na styku malarstwa, rzeźby i narracji literackiej. Wydarzenia są skierowane do migrantów mieszkających w Krakowie oraz lokalnych mieszkańców, którzy posługują się językiem polskim lub angielskim. Podczas tych warsztatów zanurzymy się w inspirujący świat sztuki, w którym przedmioty, obrazy i fragmenty rzeczywistości łączą się w nowe, nieoczywiste całości. Punktem wyjścia będą prace artystki Si On, w których codzienne elementy spotykają się w wielowarstwowych kompozycjach, tworząc osobiste, pełne znaczeń historie. Uczestnicy będą tworzyć własne asamblaże - przestrzenne kolaże z różnorodnych materiałów: papieru, tkanin, znalezionych obiektów i elementów graficznych. → Dla kogo: dzieci 6-13 lat → Czas trwania warsztatów: 1,5 godziny → Koszt: bezpłatnie → Obowiązkowe zapisy mailowe: [email protected] oraz potwierdzenie obecności Można zapisać się na jedno lub więcej zajęć. Za program warsztatów oraz ich realizację odpowiada edukatorka Gabriela Mączka.
