Advanced Postmortem Fingerprinting and On-Scene Identification This presentation will cover the techniques required for successful postmortem fingerprinting of deceased persons in all stages of postmortem changes. It will discuss the challenges and solutions with dealing with difficult remains, rehydration techniques, and the different options for obtaining those prints to identify a decedent. New technological advancements and tried and true methods will be demonstrated to allow the audience to have the tools they need to get the work done efficiently and effectively. Resources will be provided to ensure that by the end of the presentation the student is empowered to be able to go forth and solve even their trickiest of cases.
