Join NotStepping Back and members of High Desert Progressive Democrats for No Kings 3 on Saturday, March 28th. We rise because unchecked power harms real people and because this nation belongs to its people. In 2025, millions of Americans came together in nonviolent protest to oppose growing authoritarianism and to make one truth unmistakably clear: No thrones, No crowns, No kings. That message still stands, and it is needed now more than ever. What we are witnessing today is not isolated or accidental. It is a pattern, abuses of power, escalating brutality, and a dangerous normalization of force without accountability. When authority operates without restraint, silence becomes complicity. That is why we continue to show up. We demand transparency, accountability, and justice. No offices beyond scrutiny. No power above the people. We do this the same way we always have, nonviolently, together, and without fear. Our strength is unity. Our power is persistence. Democracy is not handed down from the top; it is defended from the ground up by everyday people who refuse to back down.
