O, CZY pamiętamy światło? / Do We Remember the Light? Hello friends! After six years of studying, I will hopefully finish ~ and because of that I prepared something little for you:) The diploma exhibition revolves around questions about the future. Does it still hold hope, or not? Do we still remember the light, or have we forgotten it somewhere along the way? My paintings depict newborns not only as symbols of new life, but also as symbols of perspective, a way of looking at the world. Would we behave differently if children's eyes were watching us all the time? And aren't the eyes of our own inner child already doing exactly that? Besides the paintings, you can expect a BIG SLEEPING (or maybe WAITING?) BABY wrapped in a monumental swaddle sewn from white children's clothes collected from different people, places, and countries ~ connecting cultures through the one thing we all share: the future we create together. To deepen the atmosphere even more, I invited my beloved Polish duo SIKSA and Slovak project Viktor Ori . SIKSA blends punk concert intensity with performative poetry and movement, creating emotionally raw performances rooted in memory, resistance, and distorted realities. Through a fusion of punk energy, shoegaze atmospheres, and emotional lyricism, Viktor Ori transforms personal and social unrest into powerful, cathartic songs. After the concerts, of course there will be an afterparty 🌚 DJ sets: Apostolov (UA) ~ EDM / electro-punk 608db (SK) ~ Dubstep / Breakcore / Bass / Baile Kumite (UA) ~ Electro / Breaks / Getto-tech / Dubstep / Bass Larissa (PL) ~ Hard drum / Electro / Bass / Latinbass The exhibition and concerts will take place right under the Poniatowski bridge, outside the Karma Crew bar, while the afterparty continues inside. The lovely Karma Crew team will also prepare some Slovak food for this special fusion night.
