It also provides greater sensitivity to our own bodies, allows us to get rid of tension and bodily judgments. → 3.12, 3:00 - 6:00 pm (Barbara, Świdnicka Street 8b) PRACTICES BASED ON SOMATIC MOVEMENT // The technique focuses on the internal experience of movement, puts in the background what is visible in the movement of the body. → 7.12, 5:00 - 8 pm (The Grotowski Institute, Na Grobli Street 30/32) PRACTICIES BASED ON ECSTATIC MOVEMENT // Ecstatic dance is a form of dance in which the dancers do not need to take specific steps to follow the rhythm. They move freely, feel the music and enter a performative trance, rarely even ecstasy. → 8.12, 5:00 - 8 pm (Barbara, Świdnicka Street 8b) AUTOMATIC WRITING ALSO KNOW AS PSYCHOGRAPHY // It is the psychic ability to create a set of words automatically. The technique, especially used by the Dadaists and Surrealists in the 20th century, allowed for subconsciously creating clusters of words, which were then analyzed by the artists. PARTICIPANTS Workshops are open for everyone. We invite people interested in performative practice, movement, dance, bodywork, sound and rave culture. Being a professional is not a requirement. Based on the principles of clubbing, post-dance and electronic music, we will extend these movements in physical space and create the interdisciplinary performance "LUCIDITY". Starting from the community, we will create the content of the show. According to the Cambridge dictionary, lucidity means "the ability to think clearly, especially when it is momentary." The performance will be influenced by the soundtrack, which is to consist of ambient/meditative and electronic music. WORKSHOPS LEADER ↓ ↓ ↓ Arnis Aleinikovas is a Lithuanian interdisciplinary artist born in 1995.
