This time, we will explore the world of Polish Christmas traditions - from the PRL era to modern times - full of symbols, traditional dishes and family stories. 💡 Discover which Polish Christmas customs have the longest history and where they came from. What kind of gifts did people exchange when shops were empty? How did the PRL authorities try to "socialise" Christmas? And what fish could be found swimming in almost every Polish bathtub before Christmas Eve? 🗺️ Join a guided tour of the exhibition "Wrocław 1945-2016" and learn the answers to these and many other questions. ✍️ Afterwards - over Christmas snacks - take part in the activity Polish Christmas Traditions and try to recognise both traditional Polish holiday dishes and those from different parts of the world.
